  • Driver License and ID Card Change of Address

    Online address changes for Driver Licenses and Identification Cards are also available. You can use this service if: 1) You are over the age of 18. 2) You are changing the address on a non-commercial driver license, motorcycle license or ID card (class C, M or CM or ID Card). 3) Your record indicates that you are eligible to change your address online. Fees for these services can be paid using a credit card and a printable receipt will be available to confirm successful completion of the transaction.

  • Driver License and ID Card Renewal

    Driver Licenses and Identification Cards can now be renewed online or by telephone at 1-866-DLRENEW (1-866-357-3639). You can use this service if: 1) You are renewing no earlier than one year prior to expiration and no later than two years after your driver license or ID card has expired. 2) Your last renewal was done in person at a local Texas Department of Public Safety Driver License Office. 3) You are (were) over age 18 when your license or ID card expires(d). 4) You are renewing a non-commercial driver license, motorcycle license, or ID card (class C, M, or CM license, or ID card). 5) If you are renewing a driver license, there has been no change in your vision, physical or mental condition that would affect your ability to operate a motor vehicle. 6) Your record indicates that you are eligible to renew online.

  • Driver License Offices

    Search for driver license office locations by city or county, or use an interactive map to select a region and see a list of counties and driver license office locations for that region.

  • Driver Records - Individual

    Texas Driver License holders may request their own individual Driver Record online. The printed driver record will be postal-mailed from Austin within 5 business days after successful completion of the transaction. You may request your Driver Record for a non-commercial or commercial driver license. Fees for these services can be paid using a credit card and a printable receipt will be available to confirm successful completion of the transaction.

  • License Plate - Disabled Application

    Texas Department of Transportation document to apply for a handicap license plate. Upon completion, this form must be mailed or turned into your county tax assessor-collector.

  • Vehicle Registration Renewal

    Vehicle registration renewals can be submitted to your County Tax Assessor-Collector on line and renewal fees can be paid by credit card. This is currently available in more than 20 Texas Counties with additional counties being added all the time.
