The City Council of the City of Manor is scheduled to vote on the tax rate that will result in a tax increase at a public meeting to be held on September 19, 2012 at the Manor City Council Chamber, 201 E. Parsons Street, Manor, Texas 78653 at 7:00 p.m.

Notice of Public Hearings on Tax Increase

The City of Manor will hold two public hearings on a proposal to increase total tax revenues from properties on the tax roll in the preceding tax year by 3.57%.  The hearings will be held on August 29th and September 5th, at 7 p.m., in the Manor City Council Chamber.

Notice of Public Hearing on Proposed Annual Budget FY 2012-2013

The City of Manor will hold a Public Hearing to discuss the Proposed Annual Budget for FY 2012-13 on September 5th, at 7 p.m., in the Manor City Council Chamber.

The City Manager's Proposed Annual Budget for FY 2012-13 is now online.

The City Manager presented the Proposed Annual Budget for FY 2012-13 to the City Council at their August 15th meeting.  A public hearing on the budget is scheduled for September 5th.

This proposed budget does require a tax increase, and two public hearings are scheduled to discuss the proposed increase.  The first on August 29, and the second on September 5th.

When the legal notices are prepared for publishing, we will post copies of those notices here on the website.

All public hearings will be held in the City Hall Council Chamber at 7 p.m. on the scheduled evenings.  Please plan to attend the public hearings and let the City Council know how you feel about the proposed budget and ask any questions you may have.

City announces simplified utility billing!

All bills due on the 15th of each month...

Beginning with your October statement, all City of Manor utility bills will be due on the 15th of each month. In response to customer requests, the City will implement single-cycle billing with the convenience of a regular due date that will be the same every month. More details to come, but feel free to contact City Hall at (512) 272-5555 for up to date information on this new program.

Manor City Hall Building Project

City Hall Option 1

Of the two "looks" for the new City Hall, Option 1, with the hip-style roof proved to be the undisputed winner in our un-official polling of public opinion. 

 

Submitted responses (not counting the verbal comments), were in favor of Option 1 by a ratio of 22:1 .  Verbal responses were 100% in favor of Option 1.
