MASTERWORKS CONCERT IN THE PARKS:  "Whitehouse Harmony" (Bluegrass) will be performing at the large pavilion in Willow Creek Park at 7:00 p.m. on October 15.  Also, "3 Fools on 3 Stools" will be performing at the large pavilion in Willow Creek Park at 7:00 p.m. on October 22 (this is a reschedule from a rainout in September).  For more information, click here.

UPCOMING CITY COUNCIL ELECTION:  There will be a special election on November 3, 2009 to fill the unexpired term of Councilmember Place 5. Early voting begins October 19.  For more information, click here.

Union Pacific RAILROAD Increasing Train Speed Union Pacific Railroad will increase the speed of its trains from 10 miles per hour to 49 mph on a mile of its rail line located in Saginaw, Texas. For more info, click here.
