  • Animal Health Commission

    The Texas Animal Health Commission protects and enhances the health of Texas animal populations by preventing, controlling, and/or eliminating animal diseases and monitoring and promoting animal health and productivity. Since some of the diseases have human health implications, and all affect production and marketability, these functions contribute to a solid foundation for economic prosperity while decreasing human health risks for the people of Texas.
