The Occupational Employment Statistics (OES) program conducts a semiannual survey of Texas employers. A sample of Texas employers are asked to provide occupational titles and corresponding wages for their current roster of employees for a given payroll period. Under the guidance of the U.S. Department of Labor, Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) estimates are produced for Texas and each of the metropolitan statistical areas (MSAs). The Texas Workforce Commission has provided several extensions to the official OES data series which have been developed in cooperation with the BLS. One of these, the estimates for the Workforce Development Areas (WDAs), are produced independently of the BLS.
Tracer2.com offers several ways to view wage data, the Wage Information Network (See below), the Data link, which is located in the top right corner of the page, or general Excel files (Bottom of page).

The Wage Information Network (WIN) is an interactive web product that allows the user to view a wide range of wage data, including employment estimates (where available), and entry level and experienced level wages. Furthermore, by selecting a specific occupation a user can view detailed information about an occupation, including a description of the occupation, wage ranges, highest paying industries for the specific occupation and an overview of the wage history and how it compares to the same occupation in other areas of the state.
