Trailers License Plates

The specialty plates listed below are available for certain types of trailers. One plate is issued, and a specialty plate fee is charged in addition to the regular registration fee [pdf, 1 page, 943kb] and any other applicable fees. Additional guidelines - including fees - vary by plate type.

LSU Alumni Association Travel Trailer

From the $30 specialty plate fee, $22 goes to the state highway fund to acquire right-of-way, construct, maintain and police public roadways and to administer Texas traffic and safety laws on those roads.
