Private Adoption Agencies
Private adoption agencies work in partnership with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) to find adoptive homes for children. If you adopt a child in the conservatorship of DFPS, the following agencies can provide you with adoption services at no cost. You may also review the agencies regulatory history of inspections and reports at: Search Texas Child Care.
Note: In Seach Texas Child Care scroll down to Operation Type, select Child Placing Agency from the drop down menu, then enter the city of the adoption agency to view their reports.
