Offshore Operator Inventory
The General Land Office (GLO) is gathering information on existing wells and structures located in Texas waters. This includes any and all producing wells and structures, as well as non-producing structures, and those abandoned by previous operators in state leases. The GLO will gather and maintain this information and will be able to share the information with other state agencies and operators.
The information will then be integrated into our Energy Land Lease Inventory System (ELLIS), which dynamically displays current oil/gas leasing information. ELLIS covers all state leases in all Texas bays and the Gulf of Mexico.
