Trailers License Plates

The specialty plates listed below are available for certain types of trailers. One plate is issued, and a specialty plate fee is charged in addition to the regular registration fee [pdf, 1 page, 943kb] and any other applicable fees. Additional guidelines - including fees - vary by plate type.

Ducks Unlimited - Blue Heron Travel Trailer

From the $30 specialty plate fee, $22 goes to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department to support Texas Ducks Unlimited efforts to conserve and restore wetlands and associated habitats for wildlife and provide societal benefits such as clean water, flood control, and groundwater recharge.
