  • Texas State Plan for Federal Depository Library Services
The Texas State Plan for Federal Depository Library Services is a mission statement, a planning document, and a statement of responsibility for Texas depository libraries. Its goal is to enhance coordination within the depository library system in Texas, to identify and share resources, to improve staff and community knowledge and awareness, and to provide free access to federal government information to the citizens of the state. The State Plan should be used in conjunction with the publications, guidelines, and directives issued by the U.S. Government Printing Office relating to the administration of the Federal Depository Library Program. The current plan, adopted in 2005, may be viewed as html, Word, or .pdf files. The superceded 1983 Texas State Plan for Federal Depository System is also available. Please note: because the documents are presented as passed, you will encounter broken links within the text of the files
