Child Support Evaders

The Office of the Attorney General is required by law to develop a program to publicly identify certain parents who are delinquent in the payment of child support. The program shall include the displaying of photographs and profiles of delinquent parents in public and private locations. The OAG is instructed to use posters, the news media, and other cost-effective methods to display photographs and profiles of certain parents who are in arrears in paying child support. [TFC ยง231.308] The OAG's Child Support Evader initiative seeks tips from the public to locate parents who have gone underground to avoid their court-ordered obligation to pay child support. For a parent to be listed as a Child Support Evader, the following conditions must be met:
All children need the love and support of both parents. We at the Office of the Attorney General encourage all parents to maintain close relationships with their children, and we are working to ensure that no child suffers unnecessary emotional or financial hardship. The parents featured in this section of our Web site are evading their court-ordered responsibilities to their children. We ask your help in locating them. |
