Texas will need up to 138,000 Licensed Practical
Nurses, Registered Nurses, and Nurses Aides within the next seven
to ten years. The Bureau of Labor Statistics projects nursing
as the fastest growing occupation over the next five years and
one that will continue to provide long-term stable jobs for future
generations.
Nursing has always been emotionally rewarding; now
with signing bonuses of up to $5,000 and average annual salaries
of $42,620, it is also financially rewarding. Special programs
