To query a newly built lease ID:

1. On the Production Report Home page, select the New Lease ID's Built Query.
2. On the New Lease IDs Built Query screen, enter one or many of the following -
• Date Range: Enter date in format MM/DD/YYYY. The maximum date range is 90 days.
• Drilling Permit No: Enter the 6 digit Drilling permit number
• API No: Enter the 3 digit county code followed by the 5 digit API number
• District: Select a district from the dropdown list.
• County: Select a county from the dropdown list.
• Field:

          Specify one of the following types of selection criteria:
• Containing these characters- this is a wildcard search. Enter whatever letters you wish to match in the query. For example, to find all fields with a reservoir of "austin chalk," type in "austin chalk" and click Search.
• Beginning with these characters- searches the first few letters of the field name for the letters you specify. Enter a minimum of 3 characters. Example: to find the Carthage field, enter CAR and click Search.
• Matching this Number Exactly - Enter the 8-digit RRC field number and click Search.


Click a name in the list to select it, then click Search by Field. A list of all fields that match your search criteria display at the bottom. Select the appropriate field.
• Operator:

          Specify one of the following types of selection criteria:
• Containing these characters- this is a wildcard search. Enter whatever letters you wish to match in the query.
• Beginning with these characters- searches the first few letters of the operator name for the letters you specify. Enter a minimum of 3 characters. Example: to find Exxon, enter Exx and click Search.
• Matching this Number Exactly- Enter the 5-digit operator number and click Search.


Click a name in the list to select it, then click Search by Field. A list of all fields that match your search criteria display at the bottom. Select the appropriate field.
3. Click Submit.
4. The results display at the bottom of the screen.

The results of the New lease ID built Query are only for leases built after Nov 1, 2006.
