Job Description: Performs complex administrative and technical duties involving validating drilling permits associated with oil and gas well completions in conjunction with automated record keeping system. Performs scanning and keying duites as necessary in conjunction with conversion to on-line completion system. Duties require adequate visual acuity in performing filing, sorting, organizing and distribution of documents. Effective verbal and telecommunication skills, ability to retrieve and analyze acquired information from hard files, microfilm and computer database. Manual dexterity in basic operation of adding machine, copy machine, microfiche reader/printer and computer. Job requires functional typing and strong personal computer skills. Daily routine requires the physical ability to stoop, reach low and high, push and pull heavy file drawers and/or cart. Lift, carry and move average of 15-20 lbs. Duties performed independently of direct supervision. Will be assigned additional tasks as required to maintain workflow.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Must have 12 months experience in oil and gas regulation or a related field. Requires working knowledge of MSWord software.
