APS Community Satisfaction Survey and Report

The Texas Human Resources Code instructs the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) to develop a community satisfaction survey soliciting information regarding Adult Protective Services (APS).

The survey is sent annually to members of the judiciary community, law enforcement agencies, community resource groups, and APS community boards. The survey builds on the initial survey conducted by the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) in November 2004.

APS envisions that the results of the annual survey will offer strategic development opportunities to sustain community support, augment thriving local community networks, and strengthen volunteer programs and productive resource development in the community to benefit APS clients.
