Volunteers play an important role in helping DFPS accomplish its mission to protect the unprotected. Contact a coordinator in your area about:

  • finding a volunteer position suited to your needs
  • making non-monetary donations
  • other special projects

Coordinators are listed by region (see map, above) and by program - CPS (Child Protective Services), APS (Adult Protective Services), or CCL (Child Care Licensing). Additional volunteer opportunities are available at the agency's state headquarters in Austin, TX. For those positions, contact the State Office staff.
