The TABC created the Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) to thoroughly, objectively and expeditiously review and investigate all complaints against TABC personnel regarding allegations of illegal acts and/or employee misconduct.

TABC created a regulated employee misconduct complaint review and investigation process to ensure the consistent, fair and impartial treatment of the public and agency employees.
THIS PROCESS:
TABC employees and members of the public may make complaints about TABC employee misconduct to the TABC Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR).
You may make a complaint:
TABC has a zero-tolerance policy that strictly prohibits retaliation toward anyone who reports allegations of misconduct. Acts of retaliation are taken seriously, investigated, and, if found to be true, appropriate action is taken.
Yes. However, refusing to make or sign a written complaint makes the investigation more difficult to effectively resolve. The Office of Professional Responsibility decides to investigate based on reported facts, regardless of whether a complaint is signed.
Members of the public may contact any TABC employee in person or by phone, or may call the Office of Professional Responsibility at 512-206-3405.
TABC employees are required to report any allegations of misconduct to the Office of Professional Responsibility.
