Environmental Epidemiology & Disease Registries Section

The mission of the Environmental Epidemiology and Disease Registries Section is to protect and promote the health of Texans. This is accomplished through the operation of disease and injury registries; and public health surveillance, field investigations, health assessments, and epidemiologic studies. These activities assist us in identifying Texans at increased health risk, understanding the causes of and preventing disease and injury.
