Create or Update an Educator Profile/Online Account

Online provides a secure environment with additional services for educators not available on our public website. To access online, your Educator Preparation Program must begin the process by initiating an educator profile for you in the system (with your name and certain other demographic data). Then you may create an online account to apply for certification, check the status of applications and perform other functions.

Note: You must update your educator profile in order to register for a certification exam or apply for certification.

What you can do using your Online Account:

• Update your educator profile information such as your mailing address (required by SBEC board rule TAC, Title 19 §230.431), email address and phone number
• Apply for Standard Certification, Probationary Certification, Certification by Examination, or Educational Aide Certification
• Apply for a review of out-of-state or out-of-country credentials and/or apply for a certificate following the review of credentials
• Apply to renew a Standard Certificate
• Apply for duplicate certificates
• View the status of your certification application(s)
• View your Texas certification(s) and examination results
• Educators certified in another state or country may apply for a One-Year or Standard Certificate following a review of credentials
• View your Texas certifications and examination results
• View approved educator preparation programs by entity or certification area
• View fingerprint status
