Featured Event October 10, 2009Government Canyon SNADutch Oven Cooking — Members of the San Antonio Chuck Wagon Gang Chapter of the Lone Star Dutch Oven Society will demonstrate how to cook in a Dutch oven. Help them prepare various delicacies then sample the outcome. This event will take place at the covered pavilion, so come prepared to be outside for several hours. Open to all ages, but participation is limited. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Bring plenty of drinking water. 9 a.m.-noon; fee $3 per person for supplies payable to the presenters; reservations required and will be accepted beginning at noon September10, 2009 and ending at noon October 9, 2009.
