Brooke Corporation is based in Kansas. On October 28, 2008, Brooke Corporation filed and was granted Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Kansas City, Kansas. The court appointed Albert A. Riederer as trustee for the bankruptcy estate of Brooke.
