Notice of and Assignment of Related Cases

Local Rules of the First and Fourteenth Courts of Appeals require the following statement be attached to the notice of appeal filed with the trial-court clerk. A copy of the notice of appeal and this statement must be filed with the Clerk of the First Court pursuant to Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 25.1(e).

Docketing Statements

Once the trial–court clerk has assigned the appeal to the First Court, the appellant must file a docketing statement with the Clerk.

Mediation

If the Court refers a civil appeal to mediation, three forms must be filed with the Clerk at appropriate stages in the mediation.

Information Sheet

Once the trial–court clerk has assigned the appeal to the First Court, the trial-court clerk and court reporter must file an information sheet with the Clerk.
