Special License Plate Group

Organizations License Plates

Support your favorite group or organization by displaying specialty license plates on your vehicle. More than 70 percent of the specialty plate fee is dedicated toward organizational activities, programs or services.

The specialty plate fee ($30 or $40, depending on the plate) is collected in addition to the regular registration fee [pdf, 1 page, 943kb] and any other applicable fees.

Girl Scouts

From the $30 specialty plate fee, $22 goes to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board to make grants for educational projects sponsored by the Girl Scout Councils of Texas.
