Estimated vs. Actual Expenditures

Look up spending by state agency and budget year and compare against budget estimates derived from the General Appropriations Act.

Search Notes:

  • Institutions of higher education are not included in this report.
  • The Estimated Expenditures are derived from the Object-of-Expense Informational Listings in the General Appropriations Act. These amounts do not include appropriation riders and other approved budget adjustments that could increase or decrease the agency’s budget.
  • The Actual Expenditures are derived from the cash expenditures updated daily in the statewide accounting system. These amounts do not include interagency cost allocations, accrued expenditures (pending payments and adjustments) and encumbrances (future contractual payments).
