Contract Training Providers
These providers offer training for peace officers, jailers, and telecommunicators to maintain their licenses or acquire certificates. They also have the ability to offer additional courses that meet the needs of the area served.

Distance, Internet and Virtual Class Room Providers
These providers are contract providers that also host various nontraditional training including providing training via the internet and workbook style presentations.

Academic Alternative Programs
These providers are located on college or university campuses and offer an alternative to the basic licensing courses (the peace officer alternative requires at least an Associate’s Degree). They also have the ability to offer additional courses that meet the needs of the area served.
