TSSWCB Governor Appointee Board Member
Joe Ward
Member
Joe L. Ward, of Telephone, Texas, was appointed on June 22, 2005 by Governor Rick Perry to serve on the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board. Ward currently runs a Santa Gertrudis cow-calf operation and recreational land on a full-time basis. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Bonham Chamber of Commerce and the Fannin County Multipurpose Complex. He has been the Chairman of the Fannin County Republican Party for the past seven years. Ward has interests in an insurance consulting business and investments in land and family-owned restaurants.
