ICT Contracts and E-Rate

Increase your technology buying power Today.

Eligible schools and libraries can take advantage of the many DIR Information and Communications Technology (ICT) contracts that meet all E-Rate procurement requirements. By filing Form 470s on the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC) website for some products and services, DIR makes the procurement process easy for products and services that qualify for E-Rate funding.

Finding Qualifying ICT Contracts

DIR has two active Form 470 filings:

  • DSL/Cable Modem Request for Offer (RFO) #DIR-SDD-TMP-062
  • Data Networking/Telephone System Equipment and Services RFO #DIR-SDD-TMP-064

All contracts awarded under these RFO numbers are E-Rate fundable.

To find E-Rate contracts:

  1. Visit the DIR Store and search by Product Type for Cable Modem Services, DSL, Networking, Telephone Equipment, Security Products, and more.
  2. The search results page will appear for the Product Type you chose. Click on the product or service of choice.
  3. The master contract link will be included on the individual home page of each product or service. To verify E-Rate status, make sure that the introduction to the master contract references one of the above RFO numbers.

DIR Store search options, process

DIR is updating its website to make E-Rate-eligible contracts easily identifiable.

Future E-Rate Initiatives

DIR has filed a Form 470 for the following RFOs:

  • Comprehensive Web Development and Management Services
  • Augment Data Communication and Telecommunication Networking Equipment and Related Services

Contracts have not yet been awarded under these two RFOs. However, check DIR’s Current Contracting Initiatives page for updates.
