About the Statutory Documents Section

Notario Publico? Not in Texas!
A comparison between a Texas notary public and a Mexican Notario Publico.

Statutory Documents is responsible for registering many different types of organizations and their agents. All notaries must apply, be appointed, and qualify for their commission through this section. Statutory Documents also functions as a depository for many miscellaneous filings. Our objective is to review all documents for statutory compliance, then to accept or reject the documents as soon as possible. All accepted documents are processed in a timely manner, recorded, filed, and made available to the public upon request. The many different duties of this section are divided among four units.
