TEA’s Foundation School Program System is the automated system used for collecting certain state funding-related data, as well as allocating and processing state funding payments to school districts.

Performance Reporting produces a variety of reports that contain financial information about school district budgets, property values, and state financial assistance, including the Academic Excellence Indicator System (AEIS) reports and Snapshot.
Permanent
School Fund (PSF)
The proceeds from the sale or rental of certain specific
lands belonging to the State of Texas, including lease
rentals, bonuses, and royalty payments, become the corpus
of the state's Permanent School Fund, which was created
with a $2,000,000 appropriation by the Constitution
of 1854 expressly for the benefit of the public schools

The School Finance website provides access to resources concerning state aid for school districts and charter schools under the Foundation School Program. The site also includes resources concerning facilities assistance programs, facilities standards and guidelines, the permanent school fund bond guarantee program, wealth equalization requirements, school transportation funding, state minimum salary requirements and creditable years of service for teachers, librarians, counselors, and nurses, the prekindergarten expansion grant program, and school district administrative cost ratios.
Financial Audits
The Financial Audits website provides access to resources concerning financial accountability and reporting requirements for school districts and charter schools. The site includes the Financial Accountability System Resource Guide, charter school charts of accounts, Single Audit Act Guidelines, resources concerning school district depository requirements, and guidance concerning dropout audits.

Standard Reports
"Standard Reports" are created using the Public Education Information Management System (PEIMS) data collected from Texas public school districts and charter schools. These reports include information about students and staff as well as district financial data at the state, region, county and district level for multiple years. Campus enrollment reports are also available. Student data reports include enrollment, graduate, and economically disadvantaged counts of students. Staff data reports provide information on superintendent salaries as well as full-time equivalent (FTE) and salary reports for all professional and para-professional district staff. In addition, both budget and actual district financial reports are available.

The Comptroller’s new Online State Expenditures (OSE) System mandated through HB 3430 provides expenditure information for all Texas state agencies and institutions under broad spending categories by agency.

Expenditure
Report
The WEB Expenditure Reporting System is used to file
