Program Description
Title VI, Part A, Subpart 2 - Funding Transferability for State and Local Education Agencies provides LEAs that have not been identified for Title I, Part A School Improvement with the ability to transfer the use of up to 50 percent of the non-administrative funds allocated to them under Title II, Part A; Title II, Part D; Title IV, Part A; and/or Title V, Part A, to allowable uses under one of more of the following programs: Title I, Part A; Title II, Part A; Title II, Part D; Title IV, Part A; and Title V, Part A. An LEA identified for school improvement may transfer up to 30 percent of its non-administrative funds allocated under the same programs. Funds may be transferred into Title I, Part A, but not from Title I, Part A.
