Welcome to the TWDB Mapping Website. The maps shown below are available to the public at cost of reproduction plus shipping. Custom maps pertaining to ground and/or surface water concerns are also available and cost estimates are given upon request. Please use the GIS ORDER FORM and see the GIS Map Prices web pages for more information. State Legislators, TWDB employees, and other State agencies working in coordination with the TWDB on a specific project are exempt from costs.

Projections The Texas State Mapping System Projection is the commonly used projection in TWDB maps with Decimal Degrees, NAD83 as the common spatial representation for GIS datasets. Projection files are zipped. ArcExplorer ArcExplorer is a lightweight GIS data viewer developed by ESRI. This freely available software offers an easy way to perform basic GIS functions. NB Viewer A free, easy to use universal GIS data viewer. NB Viewer can view .shp, .mif, or .e00 files.
