Cancellation Process

Should you decide to cancel your contract, please follow these steps:

1. Download the cancellation form (PDF).

The form must be notarized and completed fully, including the signatures of the purchaser and any co-purchaser.

2. Submit your cancellation form:

NOTE: e-mail cancellations cannot be accepted because a notary’s signature is required.

3. Deliver by:

5:00 pm on November 30, 2009. The deadline is NOT based on the postmarked date. Be sure to mail in plenty of time to ensure delivery within the deadline.

How to Check Cancellation Status

To check the status of your cancellation, you can log in to your account online. (See How to Login.)

Once we begin processing your cancellation form, your online account status will state "Processing Cancellation." Please allow up to two weeks for initial processing, and up to 90 days for the issuance of a refund.

NEW: We have added a system enhancement that will let you still view your account online, even after your contract is cancelled. If your account status shows "Cancelled," you should expect to receive a check in 10-15 days. The amount of your refund will be shown on the "Distribution Information" page.

You can cancel your contract and receive any earnings you would have been entitled to under the old rules as long as your cancellation form is completed and received in our office no later than 5:00 pm on November 30, 2009.
