United States and Italy Sign Agreements to Advance Developments in Nuclear Energy

Washington, D.C. - U.S. Secretary of Energy Steven Chu and Italian Minister for Economic Development Claudio Scajola signed two important nuclear energy agreements that may lead to construction of new nuclear power plants and improved cooperation on advanced nuclear energy systems and fuel cycle technologies in both countries.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Department of Energy announced that Deputy Secretary of Energy Daniel Poneman and Director General of the State Atomic Energy Corporation “Rosatom” Sergei Kiriyenko held the first meetings of the joint U.S.-Russian Nuclear Energy and Nuclear Security Working Group on Monday, September 28 and Tuesday, September 29.

Department of Energy Announces Testing for AeroSys, Inc. Products to Ensure Compliance with Appliance Standards

Washington, DC - As part of its renewed efforts to ensure compliance with national energy efficiency appliance standards, the U.S. Department of Energy today issued a test notice requiring AeroSys, Inc. to provide sample air conditioners and heat pumps for laboratory testing by DOE.
