Attend a National Conference for College Women Student Leaders, an annual conference for college and university women students, faculty, and administrators to gain leadership, career development, political, and networking skills.

The 2009 conference was held June 4-6, at the University of Maryland, College Park.

The national SAC is comprised of 10 students who advise AAUW on student issues, serve as campus leaders, and help with the annual student conference. 

Applications for the 2009-10 term are now being accepted. (Deadline Sep. 30, 2009.)

Meet the 2008-09 SAC members and read their blog entries.

Contact your AAUW state leaders to find out about creating or joining an existing state SAC.

Through Campus Action Project, each fall, teams of students and faculty can apply for up to $5,000 to design and implement a program on a specific women's equity issue.

Apply for the 2009-10 grants! The application deadline is October 16, 2009.

Grad students: Join AAUW as a full AAUW member.

Announcements: Check out the new FREE e-student affiliation:

  • E-student affiliation status is FREE to all undergraduate students attending an AAUW college/university partner member institution.
  • If your institution is a partner, contact your campus C/U Representative to get signed up for the FREE affiliate status (contact coll-univ@aauw.org for the Rep.'s name and contact information).
  • If your institution is not a partner, contact an administrator on campus, such as the dean of students, vice president of student affairs, the dean of academic affairs, or the Women's Center and tell them about the benefits of becoming a C/U Partner Member, including the FREE e-student affiliates for all undergraduate students.
