Inside NAEP

Will the trend continue?

The 2007 Nation's Report Card in mathematics found that the percentages of students scoring at or above Basic or at or above Proficient were higher in 2007 than in all previous assessment years for both fourth- and eighth-graders. Will the students show similar achievement in 2009? Stay tuned; the 2009 Mathematics Report Card will be released later this fall. Until then, explore more results from 2007.
