Heavier snowfall surprises forecasters, motorists

Snowfall in the mountains was heavier than forecasters had expected today, leaving travelers and road crews to scramble with an inch or more of early winter weather on the last day of summer. 
09/21/2009 - Aurora police today released descriptions of suspects in a fight early Sunday that left one man dead from a stab wound.  
 
09/21/2009 - Berthoud Pass will be closed until at least 11 p.m. after a fuel tanker overturned and spilled more than 4,000 gallons of gasoline this afternoon. 
 
09/21/2009 - What city or town has the best tasting water in Colorado, New Mexico and Wyoming? Aurora, of course.  
 
09/21/2009 - CENTENNIAL — A judge today denied a request from the defense team of Aaron Thompson to drop all charges against him after prosecutors withheld information in the case.
