The Denver Newspaper Agency reserves the right to edit and/or deny the text of an ad.
All ads placed via our website automatically include the Internet fee, and will appear online as well as in the Rocky Mountain News and Denver Post if that ad package had been selected.
PRIVATE PARTY ELIGIBILITY
Private party ads must be prepaid in advance of publication. Only individuals selling their personal items/properties, and are not in the business to sell or market items being sold in the ad are eligible for private party rates. Some restrictions may apply. NON-PRIVATE PARTY/COMMERICAL ELIGIBILITY
Non-private party ads must be prepaid in advance of publication. Non-private party rates apply to individuals who are in the business to sell or market items being sold in the ad. If you have a contract rate, please contact your account representative. Non-private party/commercial advertisers can place their ads either through their account representative, by clicking HERE, or by calling 303-825-2525 Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m., MST.
CUSTOMER ACCOUNT SETUP
800, 866, 877, 888 and 900 numbers cannot be used for account setup. This applies to both private party and commercial advertisers. All ads will be reviewed before publication and may be delayed if there is a discrepancy with the text or payment.
AUTO ADS
All vehicle ads must start with the 4-digit year then the model. Private party packages are flat rated and qualify for 10 days in print and online; with a one time $10 renewal for another 10 days if not sold. Vehicle ad may stay online for 30 days if advertiser calls 303-825-2525 to extend online . Some restrictions may apply. 303-825-2525 or toll free 1-800-332-3327.
REAL ESTATE/RENTAL ADS
Discrimination in Advertising – Real Estate and Rental ads may not include any reference, actual or implied, to sex, race, religion, color, national origin, handicap or familial status. Phrases such as, "no children" or "adults preferred" are not accepted and will be deleted from your ad text. Using words that describe a person, such as "no-smoker" is discriminatory. When in doubt, describe the property not the person. Example: "non-smoking apt" is acceptable. "Non-smoker" is not. Private Party rates will only be applied to ads if the property for sale has "For Sale By Owner" or "FSBO" in the text or we will insert it when the ad is placed. When advertising in the "Rentals/Misc_Roommates, Rentals to Share", the text must start with the city first, and the ad must have the word "share" or "shr" inserted or we will insert it when the ad is placed.
BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY ADS
All billing information, including phone number and address must be verifiable. The phone number and address you provide us must be listed with the Phone Company. If the account information is not verifiable, a sales rep will notify you and request the required documentation before running your ad. In cases where an ad is not permissible, you will be notified by email or phone.
PET ADS
When advertising a breed of dog or cat, the BREED must come first before any other text, or we will insert it.
MERCHANDISE ADS
Private Party packages are flat rated and qualify for the 10 days print, with and additional 10 days in print for $10.00 if the item(s) has not sold. Some restrictions may apply. It is up to the private individual to notify the classified department if their item(s) has not sold by calling 303-825-2525 or toll free 1-800-332-3327.
GARAGE SALE ADS
Garage sale ads must have the date and the address in the text. If you had opted for the 3-day package, and your sale is only for 2 days, we can delete the 3rd day if you call 303-825-2525 or toll free 1-800-332-3327 and notify one of our reps.
HELP WANTED ADS
Start your employment ad with the job title or industry for sequencing purposes. All employment ads will be screened for acceptability.
FOUND ADS
Ads for Found pets and items are placed free in the Classifieds, and can only be submitted by calling 303-825-2525 or toll free 1-800-332-3327.
