Remembering Homicide Victims (September 2009)

September 25, 2009, marks the third observance of the National Day of Remembrance for Murder Victims, which honors the memory of homicide victims and acknowledges the resulting long-term trauma for families, communities, and the Nation. To learn more about this special observance and how to support homicide survivors, visit the Parents of Murdered Children Web site. In addition, OVC offers resources and publications designed specifically to help grieving friends and relatives cope with the loss of a loved one.
