14th Annual Independent Inventors Conference

The 14th Annual Independent Inventors Conference, co-sponsored by the United States Patent Trademark Office (USPTO) and the National Inventors Hall of Fame® Foundation, will be held in Alexandria, VA at the US Patent and Trademark Office campus on November 5-6, 2009.

A pre-conference workshop (November 4, 2009 from 5pm – 7pm) is included with your registration for anyone interested in learning patent basics and how they protect inventions. This workshop is for beginners and is a good foundation for the conference.

USPTO presenters will include David Kappos, Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Roger Kilmer, Director of the Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) . Don Skomsky inventor and winner of NASA's International Create the Future new technology competition.

Registration is now open for this 2-day event. The fee is $120 per person for both days. The registration fee includes all sessions and presentations, morning and afternoon refreshments, lunch for both days.

Thursday evening's networking reception is being sponsored by the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) and the Intellectual Property Owners Association (IPO)
