 Major Actions Taken to Date:
  • Cumulative Recovery Act Medicaid FMAP State draw downs totaled about $29.8 billion, as of Sept. 11.
  • Secretary Sebelius and HRSA Administrator Mary Wakefield announced $33.2 million in Recovery Act grant awards for the diversity and public health sections of the Health Professions funds. The funds are part of the $500 million Recovery Act funds allotted to HRSA to address workforce shortages. (Sept. 11)
  • Per OMB guidance, this report does not include obligations, outlays or major activities for (75-0129 2009 \ 2012) Office of the Inspector General - Recovery Act. OIG will report on this data separately in its monthly report.
 Major Planned Actions:
  • We continue to review spending plans and could announce and/or begin releasing funds for additional Recovery Act programs.
