DEL MAR – An executive for the Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation near El Cajon was appointed yesterday to the board of directors of the Del Mar Fairgrounds.
Adam Day, assistant tribal manager, received the four-year appointment from Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger. The position is unpaid.
