On October 15, 2003, the National Transportation Safety Board launched a Go-Team to Staten Island, New York, to investigate the crash of the Andrew J. Barberi, a Staten Island ferry. In the afternoon of October 15, 2003, the Andrew J. Barberi crashed into a pier while docking at the St. George Terminal on Staten Island.
