Fill in the application as completely as possible. Estimate if necessary. Call us if you have questions or need assistance with the form.  ‘Required’ fields that are incomplete will prevent delivery of the form.

Dates and Times
List all days/dates and the specific starting and ending times you wish to use the theatre, from the time the first set-up person arrives, until the load-out/clean up is finished and the last person leaves the building. If you are requesting to use the KiMo for MORE THAN ONE DAY please also follow the instructions for the last item in this section.

Schedule extra load-out time. Time scheduled but not used at the end of the load-out is not charged.
Send to: kimotheatre@cabq.gov - - A file or document (Word, Excel, PDF, etc.) containing an outline of your scheduling request. Please include arrival & departure times and rehearsal & performance start times for each day. List all days/dates and the specific starting and ending times you wish to use the theatre. From the time the first set-up person arrives, until the load-out/clean up is finished and the last person leaves the building.

If tickets are sold it requires using the KiMo’s contracted ticketing system. Ticket sales setup requires at least 5 business days after the submission of a Ticket Sales Setup Form. All ticket sales are subject to a City mandated service fee of $1.50 per ticket.

Your Front of House/Lobby persons must be at least 18 years old, arrive at the theatre at least one hour prior to the event and stay until the audience is gone. Will you provide a minimum of 12 persons as Front of House staff for this event?

"At the Door" tickets should go on sale 1 hour prior to each showtime. You must provide your own change for cash sales. Cash or checks only.

Please note that there is very limited space for tables and/or displays in the KiMo Lobby.


Please allow at least 1 hour between the lobby set-up COMPLETION and your Event starting time.

Stand up receptions with food or beverages before or after a performance are limited to the lobby areas only. Maximum occupancy is 150 persons. Receptions with seated guests cannot be accommodated.

List ALL items needed for your event: 'In-house' or 'Independent' lighting design, sound equipment & number of microphones, video projection, film projection, etc. The KiMo cannot provide equipment it does not have. Please CONFIRM the availability of critical items. If you need any assistance with determining the technical needs for your event call the KiMo’s Technical Manager, 768-3578.

Candles, flame, cigarettes, incense, strobe lights, smoke or fog, break-away props, body paint, glitter, firearms, toy or prop weapons, food heating equipment, food and liquids including drinking water, animals, confetti, etc. Non-disclosure of your use of these (and other) items can result in the cancellation of your event.

You must provide at least 1 chaperone for every 10 performers under the age of 18.

Trained Theatrical Technicians
A minimum of two persons can be scheduled for the setup and operation of our lighting, sound or video systems for your event. They will be billed to you at $22 per person, per hour. Additional persons can be scheduled for you.
