Sherry	Sep 21 2009 1:30 PM BY THE WAY......SOMEBODY REALLY NEEDS TO READ SOME OF THESE COMMENTS THAT ARE LEFT ON HERE AND LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE. TRULY LISTEN.....WE WANT TO KNOW IF "MR. PRESIDENT" IS REALLY FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE AND THEIR PROBLEMS. I'M THINKING NOT. THE IMMIGRATION ISSUE, THE HEALTH CARE PROPOSAL, BASICALLY THE WHOLE OBAMA CAMPAIGN SUCKS. STRAIGHTEN IT OUT "SIR" AND DO WHAT'S RIGHT FOR OUR COUNTRY.
Sherry	Sep 21 2009 1:30 PM Do you honestly think that fining people for not buying health insurance is a smart thing to do? Don't you think that if they had the money they would get insurance? This is one of the more stupid things I've heard lately and it sickens me. Why don't you put some money into checking the welfare and disability system...check out the people who are being "kept" and I bet you'll find over half of them don't deserve to be getting money. I know several people who are more than able to work and are getting more money a month that I'll ever see. My daughter just got turned down for disability; 2 days later they were faxed a letter from her doctor that said that it was critical that she get help. But do they care? No, because she's not a foreigner or a person of anything other than white. Sorry but that's the way it is, truthfully. So if anything happens to my daughter, and several of her illnesses are life threatening, all hell is going to break loose because I am sick and tired of these so-called professionals telling people if they can work or not. Why don't they do their jobs and really check the medical records of these people who apply? There really are people like my daughter who need help. And no one will help her. So you see, if she had money (she hasn't been able to work for years and has not one penny coming in) don't you think she'd get insurance? I know she would so fining someone like her is ridiculous. Spend money on the systems and insurances that are already in place. Refine them, study them more closely, clean them up....makes more sense than what you're proposing to do. Are you really for the people? Doesn't sound like it to me.

You need to make it very clear that such behavior from both nations is not acceptable especailly Iran. This whole ordeal of Iran trying to go ahead and build it's nuclear program is not very safe for that region or the rest fo the world..... Israel belongs to god that is his nation.
Donna	Sep 21 2009 1:29 PM Hello,Obama family.I just wanted to tell you all to stay strong in god and in your faith.He surely has plans for you that none of us can see.I have 5 grandkids and 3 of them keep up with what you are doing for us. they are young so they ask a lot of questions.They as well as myself are very proud of you all.My granddaughter thinks the girls are very pretty and she sometimes feels bad that they and you always have to have your pics taken.I want to thank you for just being you..take it one-moment,one-hour at a time.all our love,and defintely without a doubt our prayers go out to the whole family..Mrs.obama before closing i must say that your fashion sense,your inner-strength(that shines through),your confidence is a long overdue welcoming for women of all colors and ages..Thank you..Mrs.moody.

*SANDY~RIVERBEND~MOM*	Sep 21 2009 1:29 PM I have been ready to follow President Obama anywhere, but I feel like maybe we are backing down here, as to what we originally wanted and the reason the President was elected in the first place, was a single payer ins. plan or something very similar and now we are told that our health ins. will be manditory. Although I love President Obama very much, I feel like we are back peddling here. I am not so worried about more taxes as I am that we are not getting what we bargained for. I was around when they put into effect the manditory car insurance, and pretty much those that did not have it before still don't cause they just can't afford it, and most like don't yet have it. I also remember that when they made it manditory that the price of car insurance went up sky high, because the ins. companies new they had us, and then there was no possable way those people could afford it!! and then they not only don't have car insurance but they are breaking the law and when they get stopped and get a ticket, that just takes food out of there childrens' mouths. Wheres the justice there? There has to be a better way, I just don't think this manditory thing will work. And I would rather we stuck to our guns on what we want rather than to keep comprimizing on what we have wanted and needed desperatly for so long. If other countries like France and Canada can do it, so can we!! Thank You, Sandra Trulson

You never respond and I don't expect a response from you now. This new agenda for HealthCare, how will it help me? Send them home and if they really want to live and work in the land of oportunity then they need to come here legally. Listen to the American people cry out to you. Stop and listen. I read that in AZ in 2008 illegal imigrants used 38 billion dollars in health care alone. Do you think they are going to pay that back? No, they won't. They need to go back and come to this country legally. That's what my ancestors did and that's what needs to be done.

All i know is the U.S. being that fact i got here when i was 2-4. I was wondering if you could tell me how i could get the right to work and reside in the US. Charley Nichole	Sep 21 2009 1:35 AM I know one thing for sure: NEVER expect everyone to agree with you. Socialism isn't the answer to everything. We Americans love the freedoms that we have and stripping away our rights and freedoms will not do any good. All it will do is anger everyone and makes things worse than what they already are. Taking away peoples jobs so a fish can thrive is unbelievable. There are ways to maintain the survival of a little fish without resorting to making people's worst nightmare a reality. It isn't just the farmers that are going to hurt from this ridiculous decision. Millions of citizens are going to hurt because of this decision. Everyone keeps talking about all the wonderful progress that they see. Progress? What progress? I, along with many others, have seen no progress, have no relieft in sight, and still worry about our jobs. Health insurance mandatory? Are you kidding me?! How in heaven's name do you expect us to pick up that tab when most of us can barely pay the taxes that we already have?!!!!! Is Congress that stupid or just that out of touch with the public?

The Republican	Sep 21 2009 1:35 AM President Obama, I am here to talk on health care reform. We need reform, we just don't need reform now. It's a $900 Billon program, that we just can't afford. Those savings are cut in Medicare and Medicaid, some of which my family relies on. The only way I can see this being paid is raising the taxes, or borrowing money, or other cuts in other departments of the United States of America. And also, I'm an Independent, but instead of worrying about that 40% minority, protect the people who got you into offfice, people like my family and I. You need to ignore those critcs, that's they're job, punch them in the face. Thank you.
Jessica	Sep 21 2009 1:35 AM Hey Mister President, I would love if you could do something to help stop the big investors from stealing all the properties that are for sale right now. Sure, now is a great time to buy, but the people who were smart and didn't get into trouble with loans they knew they couldn't afford are being screwed over now because getting a loan is so difficult, and when you finally can get approved people are coming in with full cash offers and pulling people's dreams out from under them. It sucks. The rich always get richer and the poor continue on their destitute journey. Please do something more to help out the "lower" and "middle" class people. Thanks, Jess P.S. Sandi	Sep 21 2009 1:35 AM Unfortunately it appears that the Neo-Cons have done very well in creating distrust and outright hatred of the Government as we have seen in the recent "Tea-Parties." Its too bad that these people who are demonstrating do not realize that the "entities" they should be demonstrating against are the Corporations in this country that OWN our country and through the right-wing faction of the Republican Party have set the Government up as the straw-dog....while they laugh all the way to the bank(s) which, of course, they also OWN. Wake Up Citizens!!!

SHERRI	Sep 21 2009 1:35 AM I feel that everyone needs to give our president a chance and stop putting him down. He has only been in office 8 months. We didnt get in this mess over night and it isn't going to be fixed overnight. Keep up the good work President Obama, I think you will end up showing everyone that you are doing the right thing and things will smooth out soon. I see it getting better by next summer.
