Dear Colleague:

Enclosed for your information is a report titled "Implementing A Child Support Payment Center." We are distributing the report for informational useful and applicable in your States' IV-D agency while some of you may not.

The report, written under an interstate grant awarded to the States of Iowa and Nebraska, can be used in two ways. First, it is a source of general information about innovative methods used for processing child support payments (e.g, centralized payment processing and electronic funds transfer). Second, it is a planning document that covers the decisions to be made and the steps to be taken in implementing these approaches.

Dissemination of this report is part of the Federal Office of Child Support Enforcement's continuing effort to share technical information that may assist the Program.
