Wildfire
Wildfire – the term itself is terrifying. A fire burning out of control can quickly destroy wildlife habitat and threaten human homes. While fire is a beneficial tool when managed properly, it can be devastating when it occurs at the wrong time and place. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service works with other agencies and local communities to reduce the risk of wildfires and suppress those that occur.
