The Central New England Fishery Resources Complex consists of the four organizational units shown on the left side of this page. Activities involve the development of partnerships with state and federal agencies, interested parties, and non-government organizations to restore and manage interjurisdictional fishes and aquatic resources. We are a part of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Our mission is, working with others, to conserve, protect and enhance fish, wildlife, and plants and their habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people. Fish hatchery operations focus on providing quality products to meet cooperative fishery and aquatic resource recovery and restoration priorities. Management activities focus on the development and implementation of recovery and restoration plans, hatchery product evaluation, programs for migratory and interjurisdictional fishery resources, and providing technical assistance to federal and state land management agencies and regulatory agencies.
