REGISTRATION

Create your login and password.

• You will be able to use this login and password to enter the online application system.

Tip: Due to the difficulty some of our users have experienced with receiving emails from HSF at their institutional email addresses, (i.e. me@school.edu) we highly recommend to create your account using an email address other than those ending in an .edu.

Fill out your Profile information.

• Once you submit your profile, you will be automatically logged out so HSF can verify your email address.

Check Your Email.

• You will receive an email from scholarshipdept@hsf.net. This email will contain a link for you to access to verify your registration. Click the link provided in your email to verify your account.

Tip: Identify HSF as a safe sender. Add scholarshipdept@hsf.net to your address book to ensure that emails from HSF are delivered to your inbox.

Login to your application.

All 4 Sections described below must be completed by the scholarship program deadline(s).

STEP 1: ACADEMIC PROFILE

• When you login after verifying your account, you will see a home page with 4 sections.
  
  
• You must fill in Step 1: Academic Profile, before you can complete the other 3 sections. The information you submit here will determine your eligibility for all HSF Scholarships.
  
  
• If you qualify for any scholarships you will be able to access Steps 2-4.
  
  
• If you do not qualify for any scholarships, please review the scholarship eligibility criteria. Also review the following, Why are no scholarships available for me?

STEP 2: NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

• If one meets the eligibility criteria, this section will contain the General College Scholarship Application.
  
  
• To begin the second step of the application process click, "Apply."
  

STEP 3: APPLY FOR ADDITIONAL SCHOLARSHIPS

• If you meet the eligibility criteria for additional opportunities, you will be able to see those scholarships listed here.
• To begin a scholarship application click, "Apply."
  

NOTE:  In order to be considered for more than one scholarship, you must apply to each scholarship listed by clicking on each respective scholarship program.

STEP 4: SUBMIT REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

• The additional documents to support your scholarship application will be listed here. To view the instructions on how to submit these documents, please click on the "Show Instructions" link in this section.
  
  
• Mailed documents must be postmarked by the given scholarship deadline(s).
  
  
• Once HSF has received and processed your documents, the status will say "Received" next to each item.
  
  
• When all of your documents have been received, an email will be sent informing you of a complete application status.
