"Guardians of the Corps" The Office of the Chief of Transportation (OCOT) is the personnel proponency office for the Chief of Transportation.  OCOT is a General Officer level staff which manages Transportation Corps Regiment, enlisted, warrant officer, officer, and civilian career progression in conjunction with the U.S. Army Human Resources Command (HRC) and various Major Army Commands (MACOMs) within the framework of the eight personnel life cycle functions

OCOT ORGANIZATION
 

OCOT CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Serve as the personnel proponent for the Transportation Corps.
  • Manage both TC military and civilian personnel issues in relation to personnel life cycle functions.
  • Monitor personnel and structure policies and changes and their effects on the Transportation Corps.
  • Coordinate with TRADOC, Department of the Army Staff, CASCOM and other MACOMs on personnel issues.
  • Manage the Army marine qualification program, Registry of Vessel Names, and the Army sea pay program.
  • Provide the Chief of Transportation perspective on personnel and structure issues that pertain to the National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve transportation community.
  • Keep the TC Regiment informed of TC issues and actions.
  • Assist in the management of the Transportation Corps Regimental Association.
