Croak! Peep! Ribbit! The toads and frogs have begun their evening songs. Humans are joining the chorus as we celebrate the Year of the Frog. Across the globe, people who value amphibians and biodiversity are working together to raise awareness about severe declines in amphibian populations. They are also spreading the word about what each of us can do to help stop frog extinctions. Find out more about amphibian activities at the BioPark.
With our mission in mind, the BioPark would like to encourage visitors to learn more about conservation and sustainability. Does planting a tree or garden affect the climate? Does riding a bike or bus? What are the effects of recycling and water conservation? Visit the City of Albuquerque's Sustainability webpage for information about Albuquerque's conservation efforts.
